Ya Hoo!!

The Reunion Committee would like to "Thank" everyone who came to enjoy & help out with the Reunion...it was Greatly Appreciated!! Everything came together, the meals were fabulous, the kids loved the craft table & games, we had lots of participants in the bean-bag tournament and the dance was out-of-this-World!! We danced and ate until the wee hours of the morning, absolutely wonderful.

The "Garden Bench" was won by Niaomi and Andy Romanow, the beach umbrella went to Deb Lewko and Logan Kotylak won the bands (Prairie Crocus) CD...Congratulations & Thank-you to all that bought tickets.

We had a "Full-House" in Church, over 105 people came to enjoy mass and the blessing of the graves. A big "Thank-You" to Fr. Lazorko, who came all the way from Moose Jaw to lead us in prayer.

We hope that everyone who came got a chance to reminisce and enjoy the weekend.

Alot of people commented that this was the best Reunion yet...Thank-You!!

I will be posting photos of the Reunion, as I collect them. Enjoy!!

I am glad to see some are leaving comments, it proves I am not the only one that reads this blog.

We too had a great time at the Reunion. My kids slept until 11 am two mornings in a row to recouperate. I'm not sure how it could have been better, being at the UK Farm Hall, just seemed to feel more like home. We really enjoyed the reunion being there!

Thanks to all the family members that took part in the Romanow Family Reunion. As part of the organizing committee I was pleased to see the fun and enjoyment that was had by all. It was also nice to reminisce with all the cousins, of course by the dozens! I also would like to thank everyone who participated in the activities and to the parents that helped. It is times like this that the young folks will remember and indeed will carry on with the tradition that we cherish today. We must keep our family circles strong, even with the loss of all our loved ones. What is a better way to do this is through a family reunion? I was also glad that we made a decision to have the reunion at the Holy Ghost Parish Hall. This not only brought memories back home but also kept the group more confined in one area, which allowed the family members greater interaction. Lastly, Thanks to Stacy for creating and maintaining this wonderful web site. Please make an effort to blog your comments for everyone to enjoy, this includes young and old. Hope to see each and every one of you again throughout our daily travels and hope that our next reunion will be bigger and better. Take care, love you all!
